Rule Discussion Begins for MLC

The Rule discussion began on April 6.

The public was not invited to comment. The MLC said comments will be accepted once the Rule they come up with goes public. This article covers what happened at the meeting.

What you can do

MLC meetings are open to the public but the public comment section happens at the beginning of the meeting and each person has only 3 minutes to speak. This format makes it hard to react to what is being discussed in real time. It is our hope that many people will show up in support of small community libraries. Agendas and zoom links are listed on their website.

You can also let your friends, neighbors and legislators know that you support library access and access to information for all citizens.
